Curva, curvado, trazo. II
El paseo de regreso adornó el tiempo de espera hasta la posible entrada al agua. La mirada corría sobre la superficie del agua tropezando con el reflejo del Sol de forma ocasional. Al momento del destello cerraba los ojos e imaginaba buenas olas, tubos y colegas haciendo maniobras. Cerca de la Curva, el oleaje parecía dibujar trazados más amplios y redondos. En el agua había ya algunos surfers esperando su nuevo viaje. Al fondo la Isla de Santa Marina recibía la fuerza del mar pintando sus rocas de color blanco. En esa parte de la playa de Loredo la ocupación era mayor y las ondas abrían caminos navegables que aprovechaba un grupo más grande de personas.
El Sol recorría el arenal iluminando los rincones que hay debajo de las dunas. La luz resultaba estimulante, cargando el paisaje de energía, sosteniendo la brisa marina que recitaba el Cantábrico. Bellos instantes que ocurrían mientras preparaba el equipo, miraba, pensaba y deseaba. Una ola con su brazo alargado caminaba en la Curva. Diez metros adelante dos colegas esperaban la llegada. El golpe agarró primero al chico sentado sobre un mini-longboard y emplazado a la derecha. Abriendo camino hacia ambos lados, se fueron distanciando. La cara interna de la onda elevó su altura. Hacia el interior, inclinó su cuerpo llegando a la cima. Regresando a la base, repitió la maniobra con suavidad. Avanzó hacia la orilla, con una postura típica mantuvo la tabla a la par que la ola. En el otro extremo, la espuma disparada al aire reflejó una maniobra sobre la cresta. Su trazado limpio lo dirigió a la base. Emprendiendo camino de nuevo a la cima decidió finalizar el viaje, evitando el cierre.

The return walk adorned the waiting time up to the possible entry to the water. The look was running on the surface of the Sea stumbling occasional with the reflection of the Sun. To the moment of the sparkle I was closing the eyes and imagining good waves, pipes and colleagues doing maneuvers. Near the Curve, the surge seemed to draw more wide and round tracings. In the water there was already some surfers waiting for new trips. To the bottom the Santa Marina Island was receiving the force of the Sea painting its rocks with white color. In this part of Loredo’s beach the occupation was major and the waves were opening navigable ways that a bigger group of persons was taking advantage.
The Sun was crossing the sandbank illuminating the corners that exist under the dunes. The light was turning out to be stimulant, loading the landscape of energy, supporting the marine breeze that the Cantabrian Sea was reciting. Beautiful instants that happened while I was preparing the equipment, looking, thinking and wishing. A wave with his elongated arm was walking in the Curve. Ten meters forward two colleagues were waiting for the arrival. The blow seized first the boy sat on a mini – longboard and located to the right. Opening way towards both sides, they were drifting apart. The internal face of the wave raised its height. Towards the inside, he inclined his body coming to the top. Returning to the base, he repeated the maneuver with smoothness. He advanced towards the shore, with a typical position he supported the board at par that the wave. At the far end, the foam shot in the air reflected a maneuver on the comb. His clean tracing directed him to the base. Starting way again to the top he decided to finish the trip, avoiding the closing.

Sobre Loredo, una nube ocultó el Sol durante unos minutos. La playa presentaba baja ocupación y una suave brisa recorría el arenal. Desde al aparcamiento cercano a la roca, grupos de personas caminaban en dirección a las dunas. EL Mar llenaba la línea del horizonte ligeramente curvada, efecto que contrastaba con la forma de la playa al posar la mirada en la orilla. Un tonalidad de azules dibujaba el oleaje, perfilado con colores blancos y suaves ocres.
El tiempo de sobremesa que sucedió a la hora de la comida trajo consigo furgonetas, coches y algún autobús. El arenal se fue ocupando de gente que descansaba en las toallas o jugaba a las cartas debajo de la sombrilla. De camino hacia Somo fui viendo el oleaje. La serie lenta de olas avanzaba irregularmente, partiendo sus crestas en varias direcciones y abriendo nuevas rutas. EL tamaño pequeño de estas, hacia pensar en días mejores, pero su compás y forma alentaban la imaginación.

Over Loredo, a cloud concealed the Sun during a few minutes. The beach was presenting low occupation and a soft breeze was crossing the sandbank. From to the parking near to the rock, groups of persons were walking towards the dunes. The Sea was filling the line of the horizon lightly curled, effect that was contrasting with the form of the beach on having put the look in the shore. A blue tonality was drawing the surge, outlined with white and soft ochre colors.
The time after-lunch that happened at the moment of the meal brought with it vans, cars and some bus. The sandbank was dealing with people who was resting in the towels or was playing cards under the parasol. On the way towards Somo I saw the surge. The slow series of waves was advancing irregularly, dividing its combs in several directions and opening new routes. The small size of these, invited to think in better days, but its pulse and form were encouraging the imagination.
Plaza del Ayuntamiento
La Plaza del ayuntamiento, ubicada en Santander y contigua a la casa consistorial, es una pequeña zona que ocupa media hectárea de superficie situada en el centro de la ciudad. La cercanía del Cabildo de Arriba, el barrio más antiguo de Santander, y la configuración urbanística la dotan de forma propia a modo de triángulo. Al Sur y Este, sendas carreteras que vertebran el centro de la ciudad, acotan la plaza. Debido a la distribución de la villa que se orienta hacia la bahía y la situación de este foro, lo convierten en un punto neurálgico del trasporte urbano.
La singular explanada dispone de zonas verdes, arbolado, bancos para el reposo y parada de autobús. Pasajeros a ambos lados de la carretera, personas que pueblan o recorren la plazuela acumulan un transito de personas plasmado a extremos, desde una particular soledad hasta el bullicio de la hora punta. Superficie existente y obligada por el espacio disponible de sencillo y singular arte que da significado a la estancia cuando se contempla a través de 360 grados partiendo de ese punto y posando la vista en los edificios que la rodean.
City hall Square
The City hall Square , located in Santander and contiguous to the town hall, is an small zone that occupies half hectare of surface placed in the downtown. The nearness of the Council of Arriba, the most ancient neighborhood of Santander, and urban configuration provide it with own form like a triangle. In the South and East part, two roads that structure the downtown, limit the square. Due to the distribution of the villa that is orientated towards the bay and the situation of this forum, turn it into a neuralgic point of the urban transport.
The singular esplanade has green spaces, woodland, banks for the rest and stop of bus. Passengers on both sides of the road, persons who populate or cross the plazuela accumulate a persons’ traffic formed to ends, from a particular loneliness up to the hustle of the rush hour. Surface existing and forced by the available space of simple and singular art that gives meaning to the stay when it is contemplated across 360 degrees departing from this point and putting the sight in the buildings that surround it.
