La playa está situada en el municipio del mismo nombre, que pertenece al Ayuntamiento de Ribamontán al Mar. Se puede llegar a la playa desde Oviedo, Palencia, Santander o desde Bilbao, ambos trayectos son por autovía finalizando el viaje por carretera nacional (único acceso). El trayecto finaliza en el municipio de Langre, el camino hasta la playa está bien indicado.
